The Wireless Networking Research Group (WiNet) studies wireless and mobile networking and communication protocols, with a focus on making connectivity work in constrained, remote, and heterogeneous environments — from IoT sensors to low-Earth-orbit satellites.

WiNet was founded in 2014 by Prof. Sandra Céspedes in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Universidad de Chile. Since 2022, the group is based in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science, at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
